The 2020 Industry Networking Night - Postponed until further notice
Industry Networking Night is a professional mixer for undergraduate chemistry students and representatives from local companies. Students may use this career development event as an opportunity to learn more about possible career paths and gain insight into the professional world from successful professionals in the industry. The event gives students the opportunity to learn about various career paths available post-graduation. It also offers employers exposure to the next generation of professionals who are actively seeking internships and entry-level jobs in the field.
Tentative Schedule of Events
5:00pm: Check-in & Appetizer Reception
5:30pm: Networking Session 1
5:50pm: Networking Session 2
6:10pm: Networking Session 3
6:30pm: Closing Remarks
Each of the company attendees will be stationed at a cocktail table for the duration of the event. Students will have an opportunity to visit three different company tables throughout the night, rotating every 15 minutes at the sound of a chime.

Campus Parking
All vehicles parked on the campus are required to display a valid parking permit. Parking permits have been reserved for all industry professionals and can be picked up at the Mesa Parking Structure, you will need to visit the attended kiosk on the lower entrance (adjacent to Lot 14A). Please view the interactive campus map for directions. Once you have picked up your permit we recommend parking in Lot 12A, Natural Sciences II is building 402 on the UC Irvine map.

Dress Code
Students are asked to dress in business professional attire. This means a suit jacket, dress shirt/blouse, matching suit pant or knee-length skirt, and polished, low heel, close-toed shoes.
